Aspiring independent Member of Parliament for Salima Central West Constituency, Enock Phale, says people should expect more developments if re-elected into power on September 16, 2025.
After submitting his nomination papers at Matenje TDC, Phale stated that the developments he has done in the area since from 2019 can testify how the area has been transformed and people’s living standards improved.
Phale added that if re-elected, he will build on his previous achievements, such as constructing teachers’ houses, a police unit, and implementing CDF economic empowerment programs for women and youths.
“People can testify that I have built school blocks and hospitals, constructed bridges, maintained roads, and brought electricity. I want them to understand that I am here to serve them as their servant,” he said.
Meanwhile, aspiring independent shadow councillor for Lipimpi-Namamba Ward, Esther Soko, expressed excitement after submitting her papers, thanking people for their overwhelming support.
“We didn’t expect this level of support, but we’re grateful. We’ve implemented various projects, and we’d like to complete them if voted into power this September,” Soko added.
Malawi will go to the polls on September 16 to elect councilors, members of Parliament, and the President.
